It is not surprising that Eddy’s Current is about the relationship between these three institutions. Reed is a registered Independent, a media skeptic and a long-time practicing Christian who has worked for nearly twenty-five years as administrator for three large churches. It is natural, then, for him to write a thriller that has as its theme the misery that results when religion is compromised by the extremes of politics and media.
Reed is married and is the father of three daughters. He and his wife, Rhonda, live in Suffolk, Virginia. Reed was born and raised in West Palm Beach, Florida, and is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University.
