I get asked a lot about our Facebook Group Rules. There are not a lot of rules for writers. I just want others to play nice. Good civilized conversations where authors can ask others for advice and give advice on what works for them.
I just ask that people do not join and put their promo up in the group. That is what our Facebook fan page is for. If you are planning on putting up a promo do it on our Facebook page and keep the group to just discussions. Click here for our Facebook fan page! While you are there you may want to get a few books. Most on the page are free the day they are put on the page.
Now on to our Facebook group:
When joining the group if you are not welcomed by a moderator, take a minute to introduce yourself. It is ok to put a link or two back to your site and your social media as long as it isn’t spammy.
Some things that are ok are asking about book covers, blogging, blog events, blog hops, contest, writing tips, and anything that can help others sell more books! As long as you are not joining the group to put up your book sale odds are it is ok.
After doing that I would like to point you to a few threads that can help you get more sales. Our Amazon author page likes discussion is helping authors.
We also have a page discussing blogs and offering some help on improving the authors blog.
Take a few minutes to introduce your website and have others leave comments or help spread the word about your site using social media.
