Becoming friends as teens, Reese and Colton find themselves on different journeys as their careers take them in opposite directions. When they randomly cross paths months later, they realize their friendship is more than casual, and love has been forever imprinted on their souls. Unforeseen events then follow, jeopardizing their close relationship. Will they be able to put the past behind them, and overcome their mistakes? Or will an ocean always come between them? As the fourth novel in The Valley Series, Letters to Ashburn is a love story about two individuals who struggle with distance, envy, and an unbreakable bond that will forever define their relationship. It follows one of the original characters, Reese Bauer, from The Skyloft. The reader is given a glimpse of her life from the very first book. Throughout the series the character evolves, and eventually, is given her own storyline. As a series, many supporting characters and facts are woven within the other novels, offering information beforehand. This novel was different, however, since the storyline navigates the reader outside of The Valley as the main characters pursue their respective careers. Each volume, of course, focuses on specific love interests as well as offering insight into the previous couples. The overall tone of the novel resembles the others but follows a slightly different path, as the story steps outside of the familiar to discover the unfamiliar.
Letters to Ashburn will be FREE for a limited time only on Amazon/Kindle, June 18-22nd.

Aryn Lane is the author of The Valley Series along with A Moment in Time. Growing up in the beautiful northwest, inspiration bloomed all around and long summer days were meant for daydreaming. In a town with only a small post office and little to do, making up stories became a favorite pastime. Eventually, the dusty roads were left behind in exchange for the bright lights of Las Vegas. While living in Las Vegas, she received a bachelor’s degree in fashion design and was given the opportunity to do an internship in California. After getting a glimpse of the industry, she realized she prefers the quieter settings along with creating storylines. She now resides in the north following years on the east coast. Along with her family, moving around has offered opportunities for inspiration and discovering new interests. Moving forward, she plans on offering new storylines as well as other pastimes. Style and design have always inspired many of her characters and background, and fashion has always played a role in her stories, even if it’s just the color of material or a certain style of dress. The design industry has always created visual imagery that appeals. On the flipside, she loves to travel, hike, and hide out in the mountains with her family. As an introvert, and a person who prefers to independently move forward, she has found social media to be quite boring and has little interest in the latest trends, especially when a person’s privacy is in jeopardy. It has taken some time for her to finally give in and set up social pages. A simple and minimalistic lifestyle has allowed the quieter times to continue, which she enjoys. Having to sit in front of a screen all day or work in an office isn’t for her- unless she is writing a novel, of course! Having balance between work and outdoor adventures has become her goal in life. And along the way, inspiration is always there. So slowly, after years of obsessing, rewriting, and proofing her novels, she finally felt it was time to bring her work to a public audience.
