The strange and unexpected circumstances that lead Sam Callapp to become the marshal of Cougar Pass still seemed unreal to him. Author Bio:
Sherman Buckhorn was born on the plains of North Dakota. He has always enjoyed the shooting sports. He began practicing with an air rifle and a single shot 410 gauge shotgun when he was eight years old. As an adult he lived in Northern California, and was a modern day peace officer. He received a master’s metal in the use of the service revolver and broke 100 straight doubles targets on the trap range. He continues to hone his shooting skills to this day. Buckhorn always thought that he should have been a lawman in the Old West, but alas, he was born at the wrong time.
