Have you reached the stage in life where you feel stuck? Perhaps you have a nice home. Perhaps you even have a job that you like, but life still seems to be letting you down. The problem is that you may have all of the material things, but unless you are happy in yourself, all of these things count for very little. That’s where meditation comes in. When you learn to step off the roundabout and take enough time daily to meditate, you change the course of your life.
Transformation may sound a little grand, but it’s actually easier to achieve than you may have imagined. When was the last time that you relaxed? How about the last time that you actually looked forward to doing something just for you? We go through our lives and often a lifestyle is a series of compromises. Along the way, we lose track of the goals that we once had, because life gets in the way. We stop seeing things clearly because there are too many responsibilities piled upon our shoulders.
Meditation is a way to get all of those goals back on track. It helps you to see life for what it is, to enjoy the moment that you are in and to work toward those things that matter to you. With clarity of mind and determination, you can get your life back on track and it’s really much easier than you may suppose. The only thing that it requires from you is the commitment to making this a part of your daily routine. After a while, you won’t even notice that you are putting aside 20 minutes of your time per day for meditation. It will just happen. That’s how habits are formed and among the potential habits that people can incorporate into their lives, this is one of the most productive.

In that moment when you are able to meditate, you allow your mind to reach to new heights. You may have experienced something like meditation and not been aware of the similarity although this book will explain that, so that you recognize when you are gaining from your practice, instead of feeling that you are not learning in the early stages of meditation. The trick is to accept your state, rather than try and change it. You will understand more about that as I walk you through the steps that take you into meditation and a better understanding of self.
The way that your mind works has relevance as well and I will use a quote in the early part of this book that may help you to see what mindfulness is all about and its relevance to meditation. Although many people practice mindfulness as a separate thing, it plays a part in meditation because being in the moment means that you are better able to discipline yourself and feel that you are progressing.
I have been studying meditation techniques now for the past 10 years and within my practice we incorporate easy meditation ways to learn to quiet your mind. These techniques truly helped me to tap into my sub conscious and find who I really was and helped to guide me through this maze full of distractions that we call life.
I am passionate about helping others and found that most people I spoke to were curious about meditation and self-help. With all the distractions that we have today I decided to write a book to see if I could reach more people and in turn help them to see the way through simple meditation techniques.
I am a mother, wife, avid yogi and now published writer. I am truly grateful for all I have.
