Penny Picklepants, as she is prone to remind everyone and anyone who will listen, is about to start the 6th grade, and that means that she is practically an adult… at least, according to Penny it does. If there are three things that define Penny Picklepants, they are: Shopping, Fashion, Pickles, and, well… more Pickles. After all, Penny is on a quest, a quest to become the youngest professional pickle taster in the history of the family pickle plant. But in order to become the world’s youngest ever professional pickle taster ever, Penny will first need to find a way to save the family pickle plant. Unfortunately, Penny’s plans often have a way of going horribly awry. And you can be sure that this plan will be no exception.
Author Bio:
A.M. Jones originally hails from the mountain country of northwest Montana, from a little town called Kalispell, nestled in the shadow of the majestic Glacier National Park. Growing up in a small town gave A.M. plenty of time to daydream. The young A.M. dreamt of one day working in the advertising world. Along the way, however, she noticed she had a certain knack for making a fool of herself and would often find herself thinking in those moments, “If ever I find myself writing a book, that is totally going in it!”
Luckily for A.M., she made a fool of herself on a regular basis, unwittingly giving herself an abundance of material to work with in her first novel, Penny Picklepants and the Twenty-Pickle Pie. In fact, A.M. has accumulated so much material, she is currently writing Penny Picklepants 2, which is yet to be named, and has yet to be given a release date.
A.M. still resides among the beautiful Rocky Mountains, along with her husband and three boys. Between taking care of her boys, spending countless hours volunteering, shopping at the local thrift stores and eating delicious pickles, she finds the time to write about her embarrassing moments. Luckily for A.M., the embarrassing moments have not slowed down with age-fodder she figures for future books.
