Glen Erin Books grew up in a small Indiana town where he greatly enjoyed reading science fiction. A scholarship took him to MIT where he majored in Physics, but he spent most of his time in Intercollegiate Debate with the likes of Harvard, Dartmouth and Holy Cross, reaching the semi-finals of the West Point National Tournament. Debate took him to Law School at Columbia, and law took him to Bell Labs and AT&T in some of their best days. He is now retired and greatly enjoys writing plausible science fiction.
