Having lived an idyllic childhood, Brittney Machado loses both of her parents by the time she is fifteen years of age. She is moved to Los Angeles to live with her Aunt, but finds the experience anything but pleasant. As beautiful as she is gifted, Brittney suffers the wrath of jealousy from her Aunt and cousins, while simultaneously making the adjustment from private to public school.
After graduation, she sets out in pursuit of her dream to become an actress and, after a long period of rejection, uses a small portion of her inheritance to bribe a less-than-reputable agent. Despite the odds against her, Brittney eventually lands a lead role on a hit show, but her success is short-lived after she falls into the spiral of drug addiction. The downward spiral continues until Brittney Machado, a once-rising star, degenerates into a young has-been. Destitute and desperate, she decides to take an all or nothing gamble, and this move leaves her in the crosshairs of some very powerful, very dangerous people.
Out of options and out of hope, Brittney loses the will to live, and thus begins a journey that will take her north and into a surreal world. There she meets two strangers, one of whom claims to be the fallen angel Lucifer, who promises to make all of her dreams come true. The other stranger, even more mysterious, rescues Brittney from the frozen wilderness and brings her to a place lovelier and more serene than she’d ever imagined, but strange things continue to happen.
Is one of the strangers truly Satan? Is the other some jaded angel? Both claim eventually to be in love with her, but is any of this real? So she’s told, she has eternity to learn the truth.
