Robyn Branick is a first-time author with “Wendy’s Song.” Robyn enjoys writing for fun and reads short stories and novellas in her spare time. Robyn is from New Jersey and worked as a waitress for many years. Robyn met a variety of characters during her time as a waitress, some of these characters are featured in her stories, but the plots are fiction. “Wendy’s Song” may be the first published work, but Robyn has been writing short stories on her blog, for her friends, and in private for years. Her preferred storytelling is not for children, although she has written and illustrated some books for her cousin’s kids.
“19” is Robyn’s second publication on Amazon. This short story is a coming of age contemporary fiction piece that shows Robyn’s distinct writing style.
Robyn is also an artist, she enjoys painting and drawing in her spare time. Robyn has a Fine Arts-Visual Arts degree from Ramapo College of NJ. She also has a Liberal Studies degree from William Paterson University with concentrations in English and American Studies. At WPU, one of the professors let Robyn write a children’s book instead of completing the assignment on the syllabus. That is what encouraged Robyn to consider writing for publication.
A year later, Robyn delved into a story and remembered what the professor told her about publishing her work, here we are today
