With only a box of his belongings Edna brought with her, the hunt for the truth begins. A letter from her son’s things confirms he was in trouble and looking for a way out. A safe deposit box key leads them to another clue and some of the townspeople open up about the past, leading Amelia, her best friend Lila, and her dog, Bailey, to a cabin in the woods. Bailey digs up clues and the case is reopened. As secrets and clues add up, so do the efforts of those who want it to stay buried. This story has twists, turns and the danger gets real.

Author Bio:
This is my debut cozy mystery. I chose to write in this genre because I grew up loving the Hardy Boys, Nancy Drew, and Agatha Christie mysteries. Now that I am a grandmother, starting on this new journey as an author, I enjoy dreaming up plots and twists, creating my own mysteries to solve. Besides writing, I love spending time with my family, gardening, all types of crafts with my grandchildren and enjoying my two dogs, Dagger and Benji. I spent most of my life managing my husband’s business and now I am working on my own adventure in writing. Writing allows me more freedom during the day so I can care for my youngest granddaughter who turns one this month.
