The Met is using Suzie’s C.R.I.M.E. software. She accepts an invitation to Melbourne where she takes over two cold-cases; success with these cases will mean more sales of her software. Despite her invitation she has to overcome hurdles before she can even start, the local mob is frightened that her software will expose their nefarious activities.
One local cold-case soon grows to a National investigation when Suzie discovers murders have crossed state borders. She is tasked with finding a serial killer. The other case looks unsolvable their main suspect is alibied by a federal judge.
As Suzie and Owen collaborate to solve these crimes, their friendship deepens. Will they be able to re-kindle the flame snuffed out too early, or will it gutter and die?
Suzie learns she is the flavour that the serial killer wants to taste. Before Suzie can decide if she should use herself as bait to bring the killer to justice, she is abducted. Owen and the team must determine if Suzie has been targeted by the Russian mob, the local mafia or the serial killer, so they can focus their search and save her.
