Hunting monsters or falling in love? Which is more dangerous?
After sixteen years on the run, Bay-Lee joins her emotionally distant father at his New Zealand school, a training camp for hunters. She will have to face wraiths, a rogue reaper, and a border monster, not to mention an angry hunter who seems to hate her on sight. Unfortunately, he’s a great warrior. If she wants to be the best, she’ll need his help. Can they work together without killing each other?
And can they figure out who or what is killing students before it’s their turn?

When Kasi Blake was in the third grade, she found out that a good story could get her out of trouble. Okay, some people call it a lie, but she didn’t see anything wrong with using every skill available to her to avoid being grounded. Over the years, that didn’t change. Her stories just grew more elaborate. When she was 12, she began to write them down, starting with a six-page tale about a boy from the wrong side of the tracks. Kasi went on to write for Harlequin for a few years. She published a vampire series on her own, and now she is publishing with Clean Teen. She lives in the Midwest on a farm with a ton of animals including cows, ducks, chickens, a dog, and a few cats.
