Poems of Confusion, Love, Thoughtfulness, and Learning through a life full of experiences that have no easy answers.
They may press on a pain that won’t be gentle. Sometimes digging up a forgotten hurt needing to be unearthed and exposing a nerve not yet dealt with.
Surprising with words you didn’t know you wanted to feel. That somehow tap into your own pulse, with startled and stunned emotions that move you. Stirring up both the good and bad places, speaking directly to your experiences.
Reflections in metaphor used wisely so you know we are never truly alone, and that may help you navigate this strange and wondrous life.

A Poet and Eco-philosopher. Although these endeavors exist in separate realms, I often find patterns and similarities in the way I approach them both.
I believe life is summed up in two phases… You are either learning how to live…or you are learning how to die.
Writing for me is like a therapist’s couch, a consciously connected Freudian slip. To trot out thoughts that excite me, both decent and indecent.
Outwardly, my curiosity about the human condition wouldn’t look like much to most people…It would look more like quiet man deep in thought, a man you might think is judging you when really he is only trying to understand.
Environmentally – I’m working to innovate real world solutions to the climate issues we will have if things don’t change.
Artistically – Talk is cheap, and poetry is art. Sometimes bad art…but you’ll be the judge. I am merely an executioner writing about moments in time. Some are easily comprehended and some are abstract. Growth moves us forward, but it’s better when you check the rear-view to see where you’ve been. A glance at your reflection is never bad, but stare too long and vanity causes crashes. At the end of the day, I am just like you, one foot in front of the other…rinse and repeat.
I have built thousands of homes, flown blimps, worked in professional sports, consulted companies on culture and communicated for a mega-corporation subsidiary. I have no accolades or accomplishments of note, and I would not tout them if I did. Awards don’t define relevance, people do. I am simply trying to connect…
If you feel inclined to purchase one of my poetry collections I thank you very much, and know that it goes to help fight for environmental causes. I truly appreciate it more than I could ever express.
