About Bishop’s Crossing
Thirteen years is a damnably long time when you think about it.
Long enough to get into some trouble, meet a girl, have a kid, and make some mistakes. It’s long enough to realize that you’re an ass and try to take some steps to fix ‘em. It’s long enough to mess up a ton more, lose the girl, and to try to take more steps toward leaving those mistakes and the supernatural world you walk in behind .
But the real twist is when you hit that fourteenth year and the life you left behind sneaks right up out of the shadows and kicks you in the nuts, then pulls you right back in.
My name is Jason Bishop, owner of Bishop’s Crossing, a bar here in the French Quarter of good ol’ New Orleans and this is the story of me being on the receiving end of that kick to the nuts.
