Interview With Author Blue Evergarden
Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I have written teo poetic narratives so far. Diaries of a Borderline, and The Girl Who Reached for Infinity.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My most recent work is a mini chapbook (Zine) titled, The Girl Who Reached for Infinity, about the struggles of re-kindling hope and wonder through the self-love earned through self-acceptance and self-compassion.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
My most favourite on is typing poetry from the resonance of random strings of numbers.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Edgar Allan Poe, Sylvia Plath, Virginia Woolf, Ernest Hemmingway, Maya Angelou, Rupi Kaur, Courtney Peppernell, Amanda Lovelace.
What are you working on now?
Right now, I am working on a collaborative watercolor poetry novella, and my first full length Novel inbetween other Works in Progress i come up with along the way.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I am still in search…
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Write for you you first. It doesnt have to make sense all the time.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Ernest Hemingway, “write the truest sentence you know.”
What are you reading now?
The Wild Iris by Louise Glück
What’s next for you as a writer?
More Books, keep up my Newsletter, get into stores one day, make a movie or a play. Dreams.
