Konni Atencio is a former English teacher with several published articles and five published novels. She taught for 20 years in New Mexico and Colorado. She now lives in East Texas with her husband and near their young adult daughters. When she's not writing, you'll find her outside on the lake, walking the dog, or weeding her flower beds. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends and listening to live music on outdoor patios.
