What if your town had a secret everyone knew except you?
What if you were the secret?
Evil spirits, protection circles, witchcraft and hoodoo, Child is convinced all that woo woo stuff is for flakes and weirdos, but one night in her new apartment sends her running for answers.
Drawn to the curious shop of Crooked Crossroads owned by two, eccentric, witch sisters, she finds a gathering place for people of all magical paths. Inside it’s walls, there is something even more terrifying than black magic and dead people, a community that accepts her as she is. And all she has to do is trust…
Hidden deep in the bayou, the small, moss-draped town of LaPierre is full of secrets and deception. Here, enemies lurk beneath the faces of new friends and the home Child has always wanted may turn out to be a trap she never leaves.

Trinity Crow lives in a small country house called Toad Hole with her feather and fur people and her rather untamed spouse. She describes herself as a reader first and writer second, but one way or another, stories are always on her mind. As an HSP (empath), she prefers a more hermit-like life, living seasonally, growing much of her family’s food and preserving it against the winter months. Her favorite place to write is in her tea and herb garden.
Before settling in as a writer and seasonal Pagan, Trinity was a free spirit and held several jobs. She has, in fact, grabbed a tiger by the tail, gently of course, hitchhiked across the South, cannonballed off cliffs, played drums with a reggae group, had rabies shots twice and has experienced more paranormal events than she can count. She is thankful all the ghosts at Toad Hole have been laid to rest.
