About Danse Erotica by J. Jamison
Events happen in our lives that can be quite unexpected. How we respond to them is often a function of our psyche at the time of the event. Passions sometimes simmer under a surface of civility, only emerging after repressed desires are unmasked. The stories related in this book are often one-time encounters. They are situations that occurred without the slightest hint of their arrival. The resultant reactions are not always rational but, in most cases, rewarding.
Danse Erotica finds an introverted housewife achieving gratification that alters her personality. In A Memorable Ride, a professional lady on a mission is drawn into a confrontation with herself more than her male counterpart. Remembrances is a languid recollection of a woman’s past lovers. The Show depicts the inner struggle some have with their sexual desires and the result when their attempts to repress them fail. Friends shows what happens to deferred desires and their collateral effect.
Ghost Lover is a mystical story of a resurrected love. Transformation describes a female gang member’s conversion and the surprising results of a chance encounter. A Party to Remember explains the seductiveness of power and the equally satisfying experience of giving it up. In A Working Relationship, erotic dreams become a reality in a rapid series of events. The Conjurer shows how power, especially sexual power, can corrupt if not corralled.
The stories are a collection of actual experiences, second-person stories, and in some cases, female fantasies. These are the stories that women tell their closest friends. If it didn’t happen to them, it occurred with someone who entrusted them with their secrecy. The results are tales of amazement, wonderment, and awe at the beauty of lovemaking and the perplexity of relationships.
