Faris O’Neill A Passion for Life and Romance At 35 years young, Faris has lived an adventurous life. It made sense that growing up a tomboy on a ranch in Colorado would lead to bigger and bolder things. Faris excelled in horseback riding, rodeo, dancing, martial arts, dogs and boys. Part of a close-knit, fun-loving family that included four other siblings, three boys and one girl, she was encouraged to write and explore her passions by her mother, who is herself an award-winning author. Faris would eventually go on to attend the University of Colorado at Boulder, where her favorite activities were raising hell and telling tall tales. Faris loves writing about all aspects of human sexuality and in all its various combinations. She considers her years supporting herself as an exotic dancer to be just as instrumental to her writing as the MFA she received.
