This inspiring true story is set in one of the world’s only rhino orphanages. A passionate team provides rescued rhino calves with around the clock care, helping them learn the ways of the wild so that they can one day be released.
When an elephant calf is spotted underweight and alone, the team opens their doors and discover just how challenging elephant calves are to care for. Although struggling to cope, the rescuers cannot help but fall deeply in love with the cheeky, demanding ways of the elephant. The battle for survival intensifies with more orphaned rhinos needing help.
Late-night rescues, fears of poachers and continuous night shifts are all worth it for this small team of animal lovers doing their best to save wildlife and make a positive difference in the South African wilderness.
