The Clear Creek series was inspired by her own journey from city life to a smaller community and finally to a tiny town of fewer than 50 residents. Those experiences helped shape the close-knit community, heartfelt friendships, and small-town charm found throughout her books.
When she's not writing, Netty enjoys cooking, spending time with her husband and three children, and spoiling her two dogs, Grimm and Mabel, who make appearances in her stories under their real names.
