Author Bio:
Pasquale Leca was born and raised in Corsica, a Mediterranean island of France, where simple, seasonal cooking is part of everyday life. He trained as a professional cook and spent many years working across the Mediterranean, from small restaurants to cooking aboard boats and yachts.
Over time, his work moved away from restaurant service toward private cooking and recipe development, shaped by limited spaces, fresh ingredients, and practical Mediterranean traditions. His approach to food emphasises balance, flavour, and respect for ingredients rather than excess.
After being diagnosed with fatty liver disease, he began studying how everyday cooking habits affect liver health. The result is a style of Mediterranean cooking that supports long-term health without turning meals into restrictions.
Today, he creates recipes and writes about Mediterranean cuisine, valuing simplicity, thoughtfulness, and enjoyment at the table.
