Interview With Author Joseph Jones
Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
My name is Joseph Jones, and I’m the author of Love, Life, and The Game: What Modern Culture Taught Us About Love — And What It Got Wrong. This is my first published book. I’m also a professional voiceover artist and the host of the podcast Love, Life, and The Game. My work focuses on modern relationships, culture, accountability, masculinity, femininity, and the impact modern social narratives have had on love, family, and connection. Through both my book and content, I’m passionate about creating meaningful conversations that challenge perspectives while encouraging growth, understanding, and stronger relationships between men and women.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My book is titled: “Love, Life, and The Game: What Modern Culture Taught Us About Love — And What It Got Wrong.” I’ve been influenced less by traditional books and more by real-life experiences, cultural observation, fatherhood, modern relationship dynamics, social media discourse, and conversations happening in today’s digital world. As a single father, voiceover artist, podcast host, and content creator, much of my perspective comes from observing how modern culture impacts relationships, family structure, masculinity, femininity, and accountability in everyday life.
I’ve also been influenced by the rise of online commentary platforms and creators who challenge mainstream narratives surrounding modern dating and culture. Some of the content creators and voices that have influenced my perspective or inspired conversation include Kevin Samuels, Candace Owens, Melanie King, Pearl Davis, Aba Atlas, Preach Bukwa, and relationship-focused discussions across podcasts, YouTube, and modern media culture. These conversations inspired me to add my own voice and perspective to the discussion through my book.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
LOL None that I can thing of at theh moment.

What are you working on now?
Not working on any new books at the moment, but am contemplating doing one on crypto and its future within the world of finance.

Do you have any advice for new authors?
Don’t write a book just because you think it will sell. Write about something that keeps you up at night. Most people have a book inside of them, but fear keeps it trapped there. Books don’t just grow because they exist. People need a reason to care about the person behind the message.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Life is never about the storms we face, but how we respond to them.
What are you reading now?
No books at the moment
What’s next for you as a writer?
For my next book, I’m considering writing about the philosophy of Ubuntu — the idea that “I am because we are.” I’m deeply interested in exploring how community, humanity, family, accountability, compassion, and interconnectedness have been weakened in modern culture, especially in the age of hyper-individualism and social media. Much like my first book, the goal would be to inspire deeper reflection and meaningful conversations, but through a more global and human-centered lens focused on restoring connection between people and reminding us of the importance of empathy, unity, and shared responsibility.
