This lesson covers soft light, how to work with it – and when – and how to create and modify it.
This is the lighting most used in photo studios and no photographer should overlook this important topic.
As a bonus…you will also learn how to make your own softbox – no need to spend hundreds of dollars buying one when you can make it for under $10! Actually, you will learn to make two versions!
Here is the table of contents. this will show you some of what is included in this easy to understand volume.

I’m Dan Eitreim and I worked as a professional photographer running my own photo studio for over 20 years. I’ve never apprenticed or worked for any other photographers. Because of this, I’ve had to learn and develop my photography skills on my own.
My first attempts were dismal, to say the least…so I studied, practiced and developed my photo skills and along the way I not only learned how to put the “wow” into my photos, but I’ve also learned how to teach others to do the same!
To that end, I’ve compiled a 43 volume series of photo training lessons that I’ve titled: “On Target Photo Training”.
Some of the most popular parts of my books are the photo exercises! So, I’ve created a NEW paperback book (it’s a physical book, not an e-book) that gives you 60 photo exercises and 120 pages to record your results! It’s a whole lot of fun AND the easiest way to master photography! Give it a try – you’ll like it!
Photo Exercises – Book One
For a bit of fun, I made a puzzle book – all about photography! There are 140 puzzles including Word Search puzzles, Word Scramble puzzles, and Cryptograms! The cryptograms are all of interesting quotes by photographers! Try it for some summer fun!
“140 Photography Puzzles”
I’ve also been writing novels and have completed my first one: “The Photographer’s Apprentice”.
I’m now at work on my second novel: “The Fortune Teller” and hope to have it finished soon.
I enjoy creating books and expect to be developing more!
