Interview With Author Mignon Morse
Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
Mignon Morse is a children's author who is excited to share her love of storytelling with young readers through Sadie and Moose on the Loose. After retiring from a fulfilling career in public library management, Mignon spends her days surrounded by books and her loyal dog, Sadie. Sadie, an adventurous Austrailian Sheppard mix, has a special bond with her best friend, Moose, and together they inspire the fun and heartwarming adventures in this story. Mignon lives in Texas, where she enjoys sharing her home with Sadie and Moose and hopes her stories will spark a love of reading and imagination in children everywhere.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
Sadie and Moose on the Loose is my only book at this time. I am working on book 2.

I love the Carl books by Alexandra Day
What are you working on now?
I am currently working on a book where Sadie and Moose visit the Library.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?

Do you have any advice for new authors?
Vendor fairs have better sales than Amazon unless you can use Publisher Rocket and create strong keywords.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
I just learned about Publisher Rocket, and it is a great tool.
What are you reading now?
I am reading books on how to promote self-published books!
What’s next for you as a writer?
I am working on a second book.
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
I would take my Bible and a few books about dogs.
