Benjamin F Sautter was born and raised in Montana. He is a U.S. Navy veteran, a former heavy equipment operator, contractor, land developer, and local government manager. Until the age of thirty-three and one half years he also lived a hidden criminal life. A stroke in 2017 started a reckoning with the psychological divide he has lived with all his life.
