About Only Forward, Never Back: Or How to Stop Your Life From Imploding by Andrew Sarto
Three New Zealanders pack up their lives and leave the isolated South Pacific behind. No turning back. Scattered around the globe, they’re free to start over unburdened. The question is, how do they keep their fragile new lives from imploding? How do they stop the past from catching up to them?
Harper is Toronto-bound. His plan? To make an honest attempt at an adult life and to stop being such a screw up.
Meanwhile, Adrian travels to Rome, Italy to convince someone (anyone) to fall in love with him.
Natalie, to avoid missteps of the past, makes a quick escape to London.
Only Forward, Never Back is a richly dramatic, comedic novel. It’s part expat travelogue, part comedy of errors, and part reminder of what life was like before social distancing became part of our lexicon (and what it will be like again).
Most importantly, it’s about not letting the pain of the past go wasted while using it to move your life forward, not backwards.
