Interview With Author P.R. L.
Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
Hello! My name is P.R.L., and I am a neurodivergent writer with a visual impairment and auditory processing differences. I have currently written one novel.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
The title for my novel is called Code 9C4Y; it was inspired by the ICD-11 code for Visual Snow Syndrome, a neurological condition that both my protagonist and I simultaneously suffer from which causes visual impairment.
What are you working on now?
I am currently working on a few different projects, readers can expect to see many new and unique aspects to any future storytelling.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I am currently using many methods to promote my novel such as reviews, interviews, social media, etc.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Don’t give up when things get hard, you’ve already accomplished more than you’ll ever realize.
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
If I was going to be stranded…I would bring Divergent by Veronica Roth, The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins and, a personal favorite of mine, Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon.
