A Serial Killer is targeting police officers and their families in Las Vegas. Forced into retirement, former homicide detective Ransom Walsh refuses to simply watch from the sidelines while the killer hunts down another officer and their family. Ransom and his former partner reunite to stop the killer before another bizarrely staged death scene surfaces in their city.
Away from the city’s famed glow of lights and promises of easy money lie the real city. The community. Here, life’s as normal as every other city in the United States. Families go through a daily routine of work, school, and play. What these families weren’t expecting was to deal with a Serial Killer. A Serial Killer who’s targeting Las Vegas Metro Police Officers and their families. A Serial Killer staging bizarre death scenes, pitching a brazen and twisted challenge to investigators.
The killer’s first mistake was to destroy a family connected to Ransom. Ransom left the department after accepting the fact he was physically unable to perform the job up to his own expectations anymore. A prior injury to his leg was earned while deployed with the Marine Corp. He’d worked tirelessly to get to the point of applying and working up the ranks with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. It took one specific incident to call it quits. That one incident involved his former partner, Detective Leesa Gardner. That one incident cemented the fact he was unable to provide his best service to the community and be a reliable backup to his partner.
Ransom’s replacement, Detective Gabe Poulson, didn’t ask for his extended family to be targeted. He didn’t ask to end up on the other side of the victim’s table. But he knew Ransom had to help. Even with Ransom’s physical challenges, Poulson knew in order to stop the killer, Ransom would have to fight his demons and join the hunt. And as if the killings weren’t enough, the killer makes the critical mistakes of involving someone even closer to Ransom.
With each passing day, the threat of another set of bodies loomed. Ransom and Leesa are pressured to uncover the killer’s identity and put an end to the rage. Join Ransom in tracking the clues in this Crime Thriller and put an end to the murders in the suburbs of Sin City.
