Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I’ve been writing fiction since 2011, and started self-publishing romantic erotica in late 2015. I’ve published five novellas. I have plans to publish three more novellas, put some of my books into print, and prepare a box set by the end of 2016.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My latest book is Landscaper in Love, book three in my Landscaper Series. (The fourth and final book will be released in July 2016.) The series started with the book The Landscaper. The books in The Landscaper Series are told from the point of view of Kyle, the landscaper. Kyle meets Tracy and Eric, a couple with an open marriage. The books explore their growing relationship.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Nothing too unusual. I write with a site playing the sound of rain. It helps me concentrate on my story. If I start writing without it, everything feels off until I turn it on. I also write in bursts during the day and late at night, since I don’t usually get long stretches to write.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
I love hot romance and erotica. I like Em Petrova, Charlotte Stein, Jane Rylon, Selena Kitt and Patient Lee.
What are you working on now?
I’m working on Landscaper in Paradise, book four in the Landscaper Series. My readers love this series, and I’m trying to make it go out with a bang!
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I’d have to say my three favorite places to interact with readers and promote my books are Facebook, Goodreads and Twitter. I love the interaction and discussions on Facebook. It’s easy for fans to share and recommend my books on Goodreads. I follow several people on Twitter who write and read erotica, and they’re good about retweeting when I have a new book available.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Read a lot in the genre you want to write in. Write as much as you can, the only way to get better is to write more. You can start with short stories or novellas if longer books are too intimidating at first.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Study the craft of writing and write the best book you can. Get an excellent editor so your work is polished. And be sure to hire a top-notch cover artist; covers are so important!
What are you reading now?
I’m working my way through Selena Kitt and Patient Lee’s backlist…their books are super hot!
What’s next for you as a writer?
I’ll continue to write romantic erotica in 2016. In the future I hope to publish some contemporary romance as well.
