Katherine grew up near Florida’s Weeki Wachee mermaid attraction, swimming in the springs and dreaming of transforming into a real siren.
When that fairy tale failed, she earned a master’s degree in social work and spent a rewarding career helping veterans and their families.
Now retired, she has pivoted from real-world service to supernatural storytelling, writing books where magic, mystery, and romance spill into everyday life.
An award-winning author, editor, and blogger, Katherine stays deeply rooted in the writing community.
