About Small Town Blondes: Dipping in Your Pockets by T. M. Watson
In their late teens, Mike and Symon met Sabrina, an attractive woman who walked by smelling of lilacs. They quickly became friends, but things took an unexpected turn when they witnessed Sabrina lifting a man’s wallet. Intrigued, they decided to learn the “art of the steal” from a master pickpocket, becoming skilled manipulators, thieves, and pickpockets themselves.
Now, in the present day, they’ve built a successful life owning and operating a bar in a small town in the Midwest. Their financial success has allowed them to grow their crew and doubled in size. The women in Mike’s crew are all beautiful blondes, adding to their charm and allure.
“Small Town Blondes” takes readers inside the world of pickpockets, providing a glimpse into the lives of these skilled criminals. Follow along as they plan their heists and execute their crimes with precision. Experience the highs and lows of their interactions with each other and with the public. This thrilling tale will keep you on the edge of your seat as you witness the dangerous game of the pickpocket.
The next time you’re walking through the mall, department store, the airport, or a concert event, please, by all means, feel comfortable among the crowds. Don’t allow anyone to frustrate you. Keep your head down and your eyes glued to the smartphone in your hands.
Disregard where you’re toting those valuables. Your cash. The car keys. You know where they are, anyway. In your pocket. Purse. Shoulder bag or backpack. Exactly where you put them before you left home.
No encounters yet? No distractions in that big crowd?
Don’t worry. We’ll be right with you. All we require are two to three seconds of your time.
Oh? You don’t know how quick that is? Check out the second hand on your watch. Tic – toc…

Below is a recent interview:
T. M. Watson resides in Michigan. The people in the Midwest inspire his fiction writing. Their toughness, ingenuity, grit and compassion have a presence in his stories.
Question: If not for fiction novellas, your stories, what would you write?
Answer: Giving it some thought, truth is, I probably wouldn’t write with a lot of purpose. I’ve done digital marketing, Web writing and building websites, blogging, article marketing and more. I love telling stories and writing fiction and cannot imagine not writing.
There’s a lifeline serious writers hold close to their hearts, putting more than just words to print. We have to write. We must feel our readers are receiving some satisfaction.
Question: Of all your characters, do you have favorites?
Answer: Three female detectives have teamed up in several of my novellas. It’s amusing, the scenes they create when they interact. Private Detective’s Patti ‘Dutch’ Smallinski, Jill Holliday and Beth Ann Spielberg. ‘Dutch’ is always the protagonist, who keeps the order, flow and pulse of the story, encouraging me. I hope it makes sense.
Question: Where is your favorite place to write? Do you prefer background music, noise or quiet?
Answer: Ideally, I prefer peace and quiet. Realistically, the situation isn’t always possible. No particular, strict schedule. I just write when the time feels right. Most evenings, one will find me in my easy chair with a pen and legal pad. My semi and final drafts are on a word processor, laptop, on the dining room table. It's where the views through the windows are spectacular for inspiration.
Question: Imagine you’re on a deserted island. You can invite five people. Only five. Excluding family. Who would they be?
Answer: Living or deceased?
Answer: Okay. I’d say John Grisham, Michael Connelly, Mark Twain, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and a reputable publisher.
Question: You’re trying to listen to your favorite music. People are so loud yelling over it, you can’t hear it. They’re disturbing. What song grabs you so much, you can’t let it go?
Answer: If I could name a dozen songs, the answer would be easy. I’ve always been a fan of the Moody Blues. So, yeah. Any one of their songs.
Question: How long will you be writing?
Answer: As long as I am breathing. It’s one of the best ways to enhance my life.
