Author Bio:
Kathryn Lane writes mystery and suspense novels usually set in foreign countries. In her award-winning Nikki Garcia Mystery Series, her protagonist is a private investigator based in Miami who travels to investigate crime cases.
Stolen Diary, a story about a math genius, is a stand-alone, award-winning, coming-of-age novel that is also available in Spanish under the title Secretos Robados.
Kathryn grew up in a small town in northern Mexico and moved to the Outback of Australia for three-and-a-half years. She returned to Mexico and then relocated to the US where she completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and worked for a short period as a starving artist. To earn a living, she gave up the art world and enrolled in the MBA program at the University of New Mexico. She became a certified public accountant and worked for Johnson & Johnson in international finance.
She traveled extensively during her finance career, and since becoming a full-time writer, she travels for research purposes for her novels. Kathryn has now visited one hundred and one countries.
