About The Day After His Crucifixion by Merikay McLeod

“This is a page-turner with a timeless, illuminating message.” – Barnes & Noble reader.

The Day After His Crucifixion gives a fresh perspective to the story of Yeshua the Nazarene through the voices of women he helped and healed and drew into his circle. Their eyewitness reports bring familiar gospel events to life.

Following his brutal execution, Yeshua’s women followers gather to share food, recall important moments, and comfort one another amid their shared shock and grief. In their gathering, faith feels human rather than abstract. These women are not symbols, they are witnesses shaped by healing, liberation, and presence.

The miracles we think we know (from Sunday School classes) are re experienced as personal turning points. The Messiah the women remember is playful, courageous, encouraging, and profoundly relational.

The Day After His Crucifixion restores authority to voices long sidelined. By allowing women to interpret Yeshua’s ministry through their own experience, the book reveals a Gospel rooted in compassion, dignity and freedom. The women’s testimonies illuminate the kingdom of God not as an abstract promise, but as something already tasted through healing, welcome, and love abundant.
