◆ The Synopsis
The tale awakens on the Winter Solstice of 2019. Kaho Fujikawa—a costume designer and the independent publisher behind Seishusha—receives a profound revelation from Jyoti Kassapa, a yoga master who harbours the ancient wisdom of Sumer: “One day, you will write a book that heals people.”
On the 3rd of February 2021, a rare celestial alignment occurred: the day after the Star Offering at Tō-ji Temple coincided with the new moon’s dawn of spring (Sakutan-Risshun)—a phenomenon unseen for 124 years. Here, she encounters Kai Hoshino, a genius astrophotographer who speaks fluent Cymric (Welsh). Kaho commissions Kai to capture the visuals for her upcoming book, The Tales of Textiles, which seeks to unravel human history through the ancient origin of weaving.
Guided by the North Star, the two embark on a journey to trace the “myths of weaving” preserved in Japan’s ancient ruins and traditional cultures, at the final destination of the Silk Road. As they continue their fieldwork, they realise that language itself is a textile—woven with the physical memory of a catastrophic Great Flood that occurred 13,000 years ago. It is a living record of natural disaster cycles left behind by the ancients, containing the very key for humanity to survive the impending age of global cataclysms.
To avert this cataclysm, they set out to decode the Sator Square—a palindromic matrix that has remained unsolved for two thousand years—using Japanese and Cymric (Welsh) as their linguistic keys. Spanning ancient Rome, Greece, and Egypt—a grand odyssey across primordial ruins, stretching from Stonehenge to the Great Pyramid, begins. As their voyage deepens, Kaho slowly begins to reclaim the memories of her lost past lives…

Kaho Fujikawa
Residing in Kyoto with a Turkish bloodline spanning five generations past, she is a costume designer, the independent publisher behind ‘Seishusha’, and a virtuoso of the Koto. A profound history geek, she speaks in esoteric jargon akin to a cosmic tongue. In truth, a priestess governing the note of ‘F’, who harbours the ancient memories of ‘Aureilia, the Archivist of Lyra.’
Kai Hoshino
A genius astrophotographer, a devotee of stones, and a half-Welsh man steeped in Celtic heritage. He is a die-hard Kopite. Beginning his career as a traditional Japanese plasterer before restoring ancient castles in Wales, his scientific mind unravels armchair theories through rigorous fieldwork. His published astrophotography book is what first caught Kaho’s eye.
