R.S. Griffin is an author, artist, rapper, producer, video director from Frankfort Kentucky. Under various stage names at various stages in a career that spans over 20 years he has worked with a vast array of the most talented artists in the music business in some facet or another. Starting with a label deal offer in 1998 to sign to Cash Money Records by label owner Birdman, that eventually deteriorated, he moved to Atlanta Georgia and began to work under Regina Davenport, A & R Director of Grammy Award winning, multiplatinum group Outkasts record company, Aquemini Records. After 3 projects that were never released under the label, he moved to New York City and became a part of the legendary DJ and Hip Hop pioneer, the late, great Jam Master Jay of Run DMC’s company JMJ Records under the tutelage of JMJ best friend and business partner Randy Allen. While also being heavily touted and mentored by the legend and King of the South, and at the time President of Def Jam South, multiplatinum, Grammy nominated Scarface of the Geto Boys. He has made 2 apprearances at 106 & Park. He has opened and performed with Beyonce and Destinys Child.
