Bonnie Shiloh, a lifelong resident of the State of Texas, grew up in an area very similar to the one in her book, What Happened to Cassie? It's a small town with the rich elite and the disenfranchised. The latter, if not careful, may not make it past the town limits. Bonnie's life journey is very similar to those of her characters. This is her first young-adult coming-of-age story, and her first mystery. Her other books are thrillers, but all have that touch of romance.
