Zombie Apocalypse: The Origin Thrills and Horrifies
In response to an outbreak of Ebola, world governments simultaneously release an Israeli developed immunizing super virus in every major airport. But the developer withholds a secret about the super spreader delivery system.
Unaware of the developer’s secret, a Russian agent substitutes Z-Factor, another bioengineered super virus, for the immunizing agent. The plan is for infected Ukrainians to beg the Russian military to restore order. Russia’s plan backfires. Z-Factor rapidly spreads throughout the globe.
In the United States, Colonel Jack Crown, M.D. and Dr. Benjamin Lieber battle zombies and contagion while the U.S. government keeps citizens in the dark. Dr. Lieber’s late uncle’s research may yield clues to help him defeat the virus. But first Benjamin and Jack must battle the White House and fight their way out of D.C.
The Z-Factor virus gains ground while Jack and Benjamin work to stabilize the Outbreak Compound, a long-established top secret government funded research facility in Virginia.
Three hundred miles away, the survivors of the Homewood community mourn their losses and defend themselves against new threats. Claire and Mark Landi, a father and his teenage daughter, possess unique genes that may or may not hold the key to a cure. They set out on perilous journey to the Outbreak Compound.
Civilization unravels as the living battle government misinformation, the physical and psychological effects of the outbreak, feral humans, and zombies. Dangers mount from the living and the undead.
