About A Curran Christmas
Since his passing in 2016, Doug has been missed and fondly remembered every day. However, during the Christmas season, his absence is most obvious, and most tenderly felt by his loved ones.
Doug loved Christmas more than most, and celebrated it well past the time when others gave up their New Year’s resolutions. As Doug matured in life, he began to resemble Santa himself. Looking at the cover of this book, painted by a family friend, you may ask if this is a depiction of Doug or Santa. The answer is yes, of course.
Doug celebrated Christmas in every way he could, as the Season inspired him to write songs, poems, and short stories alike. His collected Christmas works, preserved within, reflect his joyous love for the season, and it’s our hope that you will feel the same joy and love as you read. Merry Christmas!
