Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
One book so far, called “ONE” ironically…
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
“ONE” – it´s a collection of poems and I was mainly inspired by my fans and followers to release it 🙂
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I’m chaotic. I have no plan, no structure and no habits. Sometimes I write, sometimes I don’t. It goes in periods. If someone puts a knife to my throat though, I tend to become very creative.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
I think I’ve been influenced by every single piece and book I’ve ever read, I’m spongy like that, so it’s hard to pin down just a few names.
What are you working on now?
I’m working on a novel, and I’m having so much fun with it, and at the same time I’m getting ready to release a seond poetry collection or chap book.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I use Instagram so much. So, so much. I love it. I have lots of free poetry and snippets on there @printpoetics and I love to offer people free reading as well, as an alternative to buying my book. I’m not sure it works for everyone, but I think social media is really a great way to connect people, so I’ll continue using it until it doesn’t work for me anymore.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Write. This was (is) my biggest issue still. You need to place your bum in that chair and do it.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
“What are you going to do in order to find out?”
What are you reading now?
The 100 year old man who climbed out a window, it’s brilliant!
What’s next for you as a writer?
Getting my novel edited. It’s a big pain the hum-hum to do it yourself.
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
The 100 year old man, because I didn’t finish it yet and I’d hate to leave it half way through. The Great Gatsby is a given. I’d take an Encyclopeadia, because I’m weird like that. And I’d take a blank one, so I could write my own story while being stuck on the island.
