About A Winning Swimming Mindset by Jeni Ritter
This is an interactive workbook for young swimmers to help with the “out of the water” aspects of the sport. As much as the training in the pool is important, it is also important to remember to train your mind when it comes to sport.
The goal of this book is to provide information to young swimmers about mental aspects of the sport. By understanding the format of the season, some of the highs and lows that come throughout the season and also how to react and cope during these times is imperative to being successful in the long run.
As we look to the swimmers at the top of our sport, we know that they have trained a lot in the pool, but out of the pool, they have worked on their mindset, focus and ways to “keep their head in the game” to stay at the top of our sport. They have a winning mindset, after you finish this book, you will have the tools to have a winning mindset too!
