Al Lautenslager is a six-times published, best-selling author, entrepreneur, book collector, business-person, professional speaker who is passionate about Da Vinci and Renaissance history. He has traveled to Italy to see Renaissance history in full view, in Da Vinci’s own country. He has lived a life like da Vinci as an engineer and writer, with multi-disciplined interests, curiosities, skills and more. His pursuit of art and Da Vinci history comes from the research for this book and the many da Vinci books in his collection.

Do you have any advice for new authors?
Done is better than perfect; follow your passions; work with the end in mind; a book is your legacy; always be marketing. Im still getting royalties on my first book released 15 years ago.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Write with passion from the viewpoint of the reader.
