Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I am a married writer of sexy erotica. I mostly write about puppyplay, ponyplay, and BDSM but I write the occasional Paranormal book as well. I’ve been writing for as long as I can remember and took the plunge to join the ranks of published authors. When I’m not writing, I’m reading, playing video games, and spending time with my husky and cat.
I currently have 18 books published
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
Belonging to the Centaurs is my latest book. It’s about a girl who volunteers to go as tribute to the centaur shapeshifter village to be a human pony for them.
I’ve always been fascinated with ponyplay and puppyplay where someone takes on the role of a pony or puppy. Generally in those roles the world becomes less complicated. I also liked the aspect of Narina being thrust into a new world and having to decide whether to adapt or to try to hold onto her previous life.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I work part-time so I get a lot of time to write so I write pretty much any time of the day. Sometimes I wake up early in the morning with thoughts about my current writing project and have to start writing. I even write at my lunch time at work sometimes.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
I’m a big fan of Laurell K. Hamilton. She was a big influence on my interest in vampires and shapeshifters and the ability to write explicitly about sexual relationships and still advance the story forward.
What are you working on now?
I have an erotica about a woman who finds out her husband and best friend are having sex together as well as a vampire paranormal book in the works.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I’ve been having a lot of success on Twitter with the added benefit of making new friends and getting involved with the community there.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Get writing. Whatever your skills, if you don’t write it doesn’t matter. Make connections in the writing community. Ask for help when you need it.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
You don’t have to be perfect, you just need to strive to learn to do better.
What are you reading now?
An erotica book about a girl falling for her best friend.
What’s next for you as a writer?
I want to keep writing. I have so many ideas and there are always more ideas that come.
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
Watership Down, Queen of the Damned, a Laurell K. Hamilton book
