Author Bio:
Abdi Warsame is a survivor of Somalia’s civil war. Despite being paralyzed from the waist down during a rocket attack in Mogadishu, he overcame grave odds to survive his injuries in a place and time where he should have died within days. Today, Abdi is happily married and President of Guled Foundation, a nonprofit organization that promotes education as a fundamental human right. He has led a nearly two decades of successful career in the Telecommunications industry.
