Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
As a writer I have always written stories. There is no end to how many. As for published. Well only one.
I’ve loved to write for as long as I could remember, going as far back as 4th grade, where as everyone else was doing math, I was coming up with stories instead (I got in trouble a lot for that).
I recently decided to go back to college and recieve my BA in Creative Writing. I’m also working on my CNA certificate, to work in nursing homes and hospitals.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My latest piece is A Drug Called Love. And I don’t really know what inspired it. I’ve just always had the idea floating around in my head and I finally put it to paper. Christophe And Angelic are by far my favorite characters.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I love to listen to music and daydream about my characters before I put them down on paper. If I don’t like the fantasy world I’ve created I’ll delete it from my mind and start all over again. It’s hard work but I usually find other characters best suited for the universes I created.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
I can’t really say what authors have inspired me, I read mainly Fanfiction and that list would be extremely long. But I do mosey down to the Barnes and Noble once a month to read a few book on the shelves. I love to dive into another authors mind to see how they think and if it is any different than my own.
What are you working on now?
My next book is untitled but is about a forbidden relationship between manager and employee. A love story filled with drinking, drama, and a crazy Babymomma!
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
My best method is never giving up. I mostly use my facebook fanpageh at is linked to my Twitter account. It doesnt help much but I’m honestly not in the writing business for the money, I’m just in it to hope that my story can relate to you someway somehow.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
NEVER stop writing. NEVER stop reading. NEVER give up!
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Someone who helped me through a rough patch always said: “If you’re worried about that one person who won’t like your book how will you know who will. So publish it. Even if one person doesn’t like it there are probably ten more who do!”
What are you reading now?
Currently nothing but lots of Brittana fanfiction, because I love glee. And my own works, brushing off some dust on some old ones and polishing up some new ones.
What’s next for you as a writer?
Finding a name for my untitled story and publishing that. Going to school to become a better writer and publishing more books, hoping people will love them as much as Kayne loves Kayne!
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
The Program(great book finished it in an hour, then bought the ebook and read it again, twice), Looking For Alaska, and those are really the only two where I really got sucked into the storyline right from the beginning, I can read them over and over again.
