Interview With Author Amy Doslich
Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
Just 1, but I hope to write many more!
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
The Unbelievable Adventures of Hannah Banana and Pinky. My wonderful daughter Hannah inspired my book. She absolutely loves her stuffie, Pinky, and I thought it would be amazing to write a book with her best friend in it.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Not that I know of.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
I love a lot of children’s books. Pretty much all the books I remember reading as a child are still my favorite.
What are you working on now?
I’m writing a book that will include my youngest daughter 🙂
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
If only I knew! I’m working on promoting my first book now, and it’s quite a daunting challenge.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Since I’m a new author myself, I’m afraid I don’t have any advice to give.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
That’s a tough one. Probably just my dad telling me that whatever I do I just need to try my best. I’ve always been a very hard worker, and I think it’s due to that mentality.

What’s next for you as a writer?
I’m onto my next book!
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
I would have to bring some books that would help me learn how to survive on a stranded island haha
