What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
Betrayal is my latest book published. It’s the third book in my Wounded Heroes Series, which was inspired after talking to several veterans who served in Iraq and Afghanistan. Most of the books in the series deal with the transition of returning home after serving in a war zone.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I do my best writing in a rocking chair with my laptop. I guess you can say that’s unusual ๐
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Dee Henderson and Iris Johansen were my biggest influences. I love their work!
What are you working on now?
Book four in my series, titled Secrets. My hero, after being wounded in Afghanistan, returns home and goes to work for his brother’s detective agency. His first assignment may prove more dangerous than a war zone. As with all my stories, there are three elements weaved into the story: Romance, Suspense, and Faith.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
Word of mouth is by far the best promotional tool a writer has. That’s why I appreciate all my readers. I couldn’t do what I love without them! My website and Facebook are also terrific tools for spreading the word about my books. I also do some advertising on review sites and on GoodReads.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Write everyday. Be patient. Write the best story you can and have faith in yourself.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Stephen King’s Book on Writing is by far the best I’ve read on writing.

What’s next for you as a writer?
To keep writing the best stories I can.
