Interview With Author Arnold Biswas
Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I’m Arnold Biswas, a young author who wrote seven books before turning 13 at just 12 years old . I started writing not just as a hobby, but as a way to survive pain and loneliness. My words became my escape, my healing, and now my mission is to inspire others through them.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My latest book, Code of the Forgotten Heroes, is a short yet powerful epic fantasy tale. It’s set in a world where memories vanish, heroes are erased, and the only hope lies in rediscovering what was lost.
The inspiration came from a deep need to explore forgotten legacies, identity, and the price of truth. At a personal level, it reflects my journey of battling inner shadows, fighting for purpose, and trying to remember who I truly am — even when the world forgets you.
Through Kael’s quest, I channeled the silent strength we all have to rise when everything feels broken.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Yes. I often write late at night when everything is silent — that’s when my mind speaks the loudest. I sometimes talk to myself in English, imagining scenes like a movie, feeling the emotions like I’m living them.
And strangely, many ideas come right after intense moments — heartbreak, joy, or spiritual signs I feel from Lord Krishna.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
I’m inspired by authors like Rick Riordan for adventure, Khaled Hosseini for emotion, and Chetan Bhagat for real-life connection.
But most of all, my own pain and dreams influence my writing more than any book.
What are you working on now?
A war/action novel inspired by Call of Duty: Ghosts, featuring a sniper, a betrayed squad, and a main character who sacrifices everything.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
Right now, I’m using Awesome Gang, Instagram, and word of mouth. Since I don’t have a laptop, I use my phone for everything — from publishing to promotion. I believe consistency, good storytelling, and emotional connection matter more than tools.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Yes:
“Don’t wait for someone to believe in you — become the proof.”
I started when I was broken and had no support, but I turned my story into books. If you have a story inside you, stop delaying and start writing. Someone out there is waiting for your words.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
“Pain either destroys you or shapes you — the choice is yours.”
I chose to let it shape me.
What are you reading now?
I’m currently reading my own drafts and rewriting ideas to make them stronger. I believe rereading what you create helps you grow. I also like reading summaries of books and watching motivational shorts.
What’s next for you as a writer?
As a writer, I want to go beyond just stories. I want to create change.
My next goal is to write books that don’t just entertain, but heal. I want to use my writing to support stray animals, help the needy, stand by those who are heartbroken, and uplift young dreamers who feel alone in this world.
I believe stories have power. And I want mine to be a voice for those who feel forgotten — just like the heroes I write about.
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini
The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho
Percy Jackson by Rick Riordan
And of course, my own book — The Forgotten Treasure, to remind me how far I’ve come.
