Interview With Author Ashwin Verma
Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I am a debut author, and Techno Green Sustainable Socialism (Naturalism) is my first published work.
My true education didn’t come from academic degrees, but from the ‘book of life.’ Struggles, failures, and betrayals have been the real chapters that taught me invaluable lessons about human nature and exploitation.
This experience led me to fuse the core values of my heroes: the non-violence and socialism of Gandhi and Nehru, with the revolutionary economic vision of Marx and Lenin. My philosophy is further anchored by a profound love for nature and the belief that ‘Nature reigns supreme’.
This book is a result of that urgent synthesis—a detailed blueprint for a utopian world where economic equality and complete environmental protection coexist. In many ways, if life grants me no more time, this book will stand as the truest and most complete testimony of my existence.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
The name of my latest book is Techno Green Sustainable Socialism (Naturalism).
What Inspired It?
The inspiration came from a realization that the existing political and economic models—from rigid capitalism to failed communism—are fundamentally incapable of achieving true prosperity for all people while simultaneously protecting the planet.
I was driven to create a practical, working blueprint for a utopian society. My primary motivations were:
The Problem of Exploitation: Seeing the struggles, failures, and betrayals in the ‘book of life’ made me realize that systems must prevent the hoarding of excessive wealth and end exploitation of the common person.
The Supremacy of Nature: My mother’s profound love for nature inspired the “Naturalism” core of the theory. The book argues that the government must be a guardian of nature, not a ruler. This means establishing a nation where animal cruelty, hunting, and slaughterhouses are completely banned, and no human is allowed to use any kind of animal product.
The Urgency of Time: I recognized that my time is limited, and this theory is too vital to be lost. The urgency to secure my thoughts and voice for the future made me release this book now.
This book is a synthesis of my desire to solve both economic inequality and the environmental crisis through a single, revolutionary system.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
My writing process is quite unusual because it is entirely driven by two core principles: ‘Naturalism’ and ‘Urgency.’
Since this book is not a work of fiction, but a revolutionary political and economic blueprint, I required absolute solitude to conceive it.
Contemplation in Nature: My habit is to completely contemplate amidst nature, far away from the city’s hustle and bustle. Before putting any thought onto paper, I fully assimilate it into my soul, because the core of my theory is based on the principle that ‘Nature reigns supreme’.
The Habit of Urgency: The most unusual habit is that I write with a constant feeling of limited time. I genuinely feel I have very little time left to share my experiences and my comprehensive thoughts. This ‘haste’ compels me to write with speed and intensity without rest—as if I am giving the world my final testament.
These unusual habits are what transform a quiet contemplator into a revolutionar
What authors, or books have influenced you?
My work, Techno Green Sustainable Socialism (Naturalism), is a unique synthesis of two distinct ideological streams: Socio-Economics and Nature Ethics.
1. The Socio-Economic Foundation
My political and economic thinking is rooted in the foundational works of socio-economic theory and social realism:
Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels: The Communist Manifesto and Marx’s Das Kapital provided the essential framework for understanding the mechanisms of capitalist exploitation and the necessity of achieving wealth equality. My theory takes their revolutionary economic vision but grounds it in a sustainable, modern context.
Munshi Premchand: The powerful social realism in his works, particularly Godan and Idgah, were crucial in shaping my moral compass. They taught me the deep realities of poverty, the struggles of the common man, and the fundamental importance of social justice and compassion—values I inherited from my father.
2. The Naturalist and Ethical Pillar
To address the severe shortcomings of traditional political theories, I turned to works that focus on the planet and all its inhabitants, forming the ‘Naturalism’ core of my book:
Rachel Carson’s Silent Spring: This seminal work profoundly influenced my understanding of Environmental Protection and the critical need to structure a society that operates in harmony with nature.
The Philosophy of Animal Rights: Books exploring the ethics of animal treatment (like J.M. Coetzee’s The Lives of Animals) reinforced the necessity of Animal Protection and the complete rejection of exploitation. This solidified my belief that true utopia requires the complete banishment of slaughterhouses and the use of any kind of animal product by humans.
Ultimately, my book is an attempt to achieve the economic goals of Marx and the social justice goals of Premchand, all while placing Nature as the supreme authority.
What are you working on now?
My current project is focused entirely on the launch and promotion of Techno Green Sustainable Socialism (Naturalism). This book is not just a theory; it’s a complete and urgent blueprint for global change, and I consider it the truest testimony of my existence.
Looking Ahead
However, my creative and intellectual engine never truly stops. If life grants me more time to pursue this work, this will certainly not be my last book.
My future work will involve:
Deeper Dives: Expanding on the specific pillars of the TGSS (Naturalism) system, such as a focused analysis on the New Economics Theory (the tax-free, unlimited capital system) or the detailed implementation of the Animal Protection laws and Vegan society.
Implementation Strategy: Developing more detailed guides on how a nation can transition from a capitalist system to the Techno Green Sustainable Socialism model.
For now, I must focus on ensuring that this core message—this revolutionary voice—reaches as many people as possible.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
My approach to book promotion is highly focused and strategic, recognizing that a revolutionary and non-fiction book like Techno Green Sustainable Socialism (Naturalism) requires targeted outreach, not broad advertising.
My best method involves a combination of two key strategies:
1. Targeted Email Promotion Sites
The most effective method is utilizing Curated Book Deal Websites like yours (Awesome Gang), BookBub (if accepted), and BookAngel, especially when running a Free or Discounted Promotion on Amazon KDP.
Why this works best: These sites connect directly with established, dedicated readers who are actively looking for books in specific genres like Political Philosophy, Economic Theory, and Nonfiction—precisely the audience that will appreciate the depth and complexity of my New Political Theory. Getting a huge number of downloads on the free day is crucial for climbing Amazon’s charts.
2. Niche Content and Author Platform
Since my book tackles such unique and complex topics like Veganism/Animal Protection and New Economics, I focus on building a direct author platform:
Blogging/Guest Posts: I use my own content and guest posts on other relevant blogs (related to environmentalism, socialism, or utopian studies) to establish myself as a thought leader and drive dedicated readers back to my Amazon page.
Email List (Future Focus): I am aggressively building an email list through various tools to ensure I have a direct, personal line of communication with readers who are deeply invested in the concept of a tax-free, corruption-free society.
In summary, I prioritize the Email Book Deal Sites for immediate launch impact, and Niche Content/Blogging for long-term credibility and reader engagement.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
My advice for new authors comes from a place of deep experience and urgency: Don’t just write a book; write your testament to the world.
1. The Urgency of Vision
Be a Revolutionary: If your book is a non-fiction work, do not compromise your vision. The world is saturated with safe, middle-ground ideas. If you have a revolutionary blueprint—whether it’s my Techno Green Sustainable Socialism or something else—write it with complete conviction, even if it challenges every established norm. Time is limited, and your voice is your legacy.
Write Your Ultimate Truth: Don’t write what sells; write what must be said. For first-time authors, the most powerful book is often the one that summarizes a lifetime of lessons and personal philosophy.
2. The Practical Discipline
Master Your Platform: Promotion is 50% of the job. Treat your book as a product and learn the systems that move it. Use targeted websites like this one (Awesome Gang) to ensure your message reaches the right niche audience—the readers who are actually looking for new political or economic theories.
Be Ruthless in Editing and Promotion: Your passion should be in the writing, but your mind must be cool and practical in promotion. Get professional help for editing and cover design, and approach marketing with the same strategic intensity you approached your research.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
The best advice I have ever heard came from my own life’s journey, which taught me the truth behind Mahatma Gandhi’s words: “Be the change that you wish to see in the world.”
It’s not enough to criticize or theorize; you must act as the prototype for the ideal world you envision. For me, this means not only writing a blueprint for Techno Green Sustainable Socialism but also living by its most demanding principles—like the complete commitment to Naturalism and Animal Protection.
This advice is simple: Live your book.
What are you reading now?
Right now, my reading is less about literature and more about current affairs and strategic analysis.
I am intensely focused on reading global economic reports and geopolitical analyses related to the breakdown of traditional capitalist and socialist blocs.
My aim is to continually validate and refine the necessity of my own New Economic Theory within the book. I am checking to see where current global solutions are failing to address the core issues of exploitation and the climate crisis, which my Techno Green Sustainable Socialism (Naturalism) blueprint is specifically designed to solve.
In short: I am reading the world’s problems to prove my solution is needed.
What’s next for you as a writer?
What’s next for me as a writer is the continuation of the mission.
Techno Green Sustainable Socialism (Naturalism) is not the end of my thought process; it is the foundational blueprint.
My immediate focus is on ensuring this core message reaches its intended audience. After that, if my time allows, my work will involve two main things:
Deepening the Theory: Writing dedicated volumes that go into the micro-details of the TGSS system—particularly the New Economics Theory (tax-free capital system) and the detailed Animal Protection/Vegan society implementation.
Strategic Survival: My goal is to secure the survival of these ideas in the public consciousness. Whether I write more or not, my focus remains on ensuring that this “testament of my existence” becomes a lasting challenge to the current world order.
In short, the next step is to transition from author of the book to advocate of the change.
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
This is a wonderful question that forces you to choose between comfort, knowledge, and vision. Since I would be the sole inhabitant on the island, it would be the perfect place to fully implement the core principles of Naturalism.
I would take these 4 books:
1. Das Kapital by Karl Marx (Political Ideology)
Why: To have the foundational text of my Economic Theory with me. Being stranded means the ultimate capitalist failure. This book would be a necessary reminder of the deep flaws of the old world and would allow me to continually re-examine and strengthen the principles of my New Economics Theory against the extreme poverty model.
2. Silent Spring by Rachel Carson (Nature/Animal Protection)
Why: This book is the cornerstone of modern environmentalism. On a pristine, uninhabited island, it would serve as the ultimate spiritual and ethical guide. It would reinforce the commitment to “Nature reigns supreme” and ensure that even alone, I live strictly by the Animal Protection and Eco-friendly principles of my philosophy.
3. Life of Pi by Yann Martel (Deserted Island Fiction)
Why: This book is a fascinating work of fiction about being stranded on a lifeboat with a Bengal tiger. It beautifully explores survival, faith, and the complex relationship between humans and animals. It would be a source of constant contemplation on the theme of coexistence and Naturalism in a harsh environment.
4. A Collection of Great Movie Screenplays (Favorite Movies/Analysis)
Why: A desert island would be extremely lonely, and I would need the richness of human storytelling. I wouldn’t take a single movie analysis, but a collection of screenplays (like those by Billy Wilder or Charlie Chaplin) that address social realism and human morality (similar to Munshi Premchand’s realism). This would keep my mind sharp and remind me of the beauty and complexity of human drama, which my ultimate utopia aims to protect.
