About Filthy Regret by Rhoda De-Diadem
“He almost gave me everything, until he broke me.Now, I’m the woman he regrets”
Jetty-Roz knew the world rewarded beauty and she made hers her greatest weapon.
Raised in a city that prized power, prestige, and perfection, Jetty learned early that beauty is currency, and she spent hers like a queen. She wasn’t just admired. She was envied. She didn’t chase love. Love chased her. Or so she thought.
Until she met Al-George, a man who embodied everything she craved;
Billionaire bad boy, Enemies-to-lovers chemistry, Dark alpha male with secrets, toxic, possessive and obsessive love.
Al-George was wealth. Danger and dominance rolled into one. He saw her, wanted her, and took her. With him came penthouse promises, private jets, and high-stakes seduction. Jetty-Roz believed she’d finally made the dream life, the dream man, the dream romance.
But dreams died. Behind the luxury was control. Behind the passion was manipulation. Behind the man, was another woman.
When Al-George publicly announced his engagement to someone else. Jetty wasn’t just heartbroken. She was humiliated, discarded, and emotionally destroyed. The same man who whispered forever chose another woman without flinching. And just like that, the illusion shattered.
Her world crumbled. She spiraled. And then, there was Jim-Honz.
A Second-chance love interest, Once overlooked, now irresistible, Kind, emotionally grounded male lead, Slow burn romance with healing payoff
Jim-Honz, the man she once dismissed as “just nice,” reenters her life but this time, he’s different. Grown, grounded, and successful. He doesn’t come to claim her. He comes to support her with no strings attached. And that’s what makes it dangerous, because now she feels something she’s never felt before: safe.
But love isn’t easy, not after being shattered. Jetty-Roz has to face what she ignored for years: Her self-worth was wrapped in validation, Her heart was built on illusions,Her choices nearly destroyed her.
She seeks healing, not just love. Here; Romance meets emotional healing, From toxic to healthy love, Powerful woman reclaiming her worth, Female empowerment through heartbreak.
With the help of her rekindled friendship with Tamarieo and Jim-Honz’s unwavering encouragement, Jetty begins to rebuild herself, piece by piece. She finds strength in therapy, purpose in new work, and identity beyond being desired. Her journey becomes more than a romance. It becomes a redemption arc.
As Jetty transforms, Al-George watches from afar, silently haunted by the woman he lost. He sees now what he ruined. What he regrets.
But Jetty? She’s done performing. Yes, No more glittered cage, No more being silenced for luxury, No more mistaking obsession for love.
What a; Redemption romance, Emotional self-discovery, Triumph after trauma and Empowered heroine arc
When Jim-Honz publicly shares the story of their quiet reconnection without ever naming her. Jetty feels something deeper than validation. She feels seen; Not as a trophy, Not as a fantasy, But as a woman reborn.
Filthy Regret is not your typical love story. It’s raw, emotional, and unfiltered. It’s about what happens after the fall, and the kind of love that doesn’t just romance you, but rebuilds you.

I am a certified health coach and triathlete. I enjoy swimming, running, cycling, kayaking, archery, cross country skiing, rebounding, working out, water aerobics, writing, reading, photography, and anything else that sounds like fun. About Repercussion by Demilade Olaniyan
In Repercussion, 12-year-old Nigerian author, Demilade Olaniyan weaves a powerful tale of betrayal, redemption, and the heavy burden of leadership. Prince Adeloba, heir to the throne of the ancient Kingdom of Idu, capitalizes on the naivety of young maidens, to satisfy his burning desires. Will the shattered dreams of a fledging young girl be reassembled again?
Rich in Nigerian culture and wisdom, this 83-page masterpiece is a stirring reminder that trust, once broken, can shape destinies, and that even the youngest among us can rise above failure to become great.

Interview With Author KP Roberson
Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
Funny story. While I have written two full novels, they are the equivalent to three books. The second book in my Between the Birches Trilogy has been completely rewritten. It was scheduled to be released this year, but my previous publisher went kablooey, so here I am back on the self-pub path. They say third time is a charm. I’m hoping it is! Outside of my obsession with this debut, I’ve partially written a handful of other books. They all contain some amount of romance or romantic elements. Apparently, I have difficulty writing a story without people smooshing faces.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
The inspiration behind my Between the Birches Trilogy came after rewatching the Twilight movies with my spouse. Basically, the thought was, “If Stephanie Myer can write this stuff, so can I!” While my story doesn’t include vampires or the dense forest in the Pacific Northwest, it does have horror, which is my favorite genre, and takes place in the lower Appalachian mountains where I call home. As someone who lived a very reserved, very sheltered life until recently, my stepping outside the cage into a world of magic and other wonders played a large role in who my characters are. Basically, they are the stages of my own personal awakening.
Awakening and Harbinger are the first two books in the trilogy.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
My most unusual writing habit would be the tendency to write chronologically and out of order at the same time. Meaning, I start at the beginning and record events in ‘real time,’ but sometimes a thought appears after I’ve already written a part. I’m constantly going back to copy and paste it at the beginning of the paragraph or rewriting it to fit. It’s annoying, really.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
In high school, I read a ton of Edgar Allan Poe and R.L. Stine Fear street novels. Stephen King’s novels were too intimidating for my undiagnosed ADHD brain to handle, but I looked at them with awe after watching movie adaptations. Misery is still my absolute favorite King story. Much later, when dating my now-spouse, I consumed fantasy and sci-fi books like they were candy (I’ve always had a sweet tooth). He opened so many worlds to me, including Stephen R. Donaldson (Mirror of Her Dreams), Tolkein, Orson Scott Card (The Ender Series), Terry Goodkind (The Sword of Truth until the last 3 books…DNF), George R.R. Martin (he knows what he did), Anne McCaffrey (Dragonriders of Pern), Edgar Rice Burroughs (The Barsoom Series), and Robert E. Howard (Conan the Barbarian). These authors strongly inspired my love of people stories.
What are you working on now?
Currently, I am working to relaunch my Between the Birches trilogy. Once the first two books are back on shelves, I’m finally sitting down to finish the story. It’s been ruminating since day one back in 2020 and has evolved into a challenge to bring my readers the epic ending they deserve. After that? I have a few projects lined up.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
Promoting books is difficult on a good day, but the most success I’ve found is on Instagram. If I spent more time on TikTok, I’m sure my books would reach more readers, but I don’t know if I can spin anymore plates when I need my hands to write. With this relaunch, I’ve commissioned an author friend with mad marketing skills to work up a plan to maximize visibility. So far, it’s slow-going, but the world is on fire. People are busy.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Don’t give up, write what you love, find your people. Your writing style is going to evolve over time. As long as you’re putting to paper something you love and enjoy, it’s gonna translate to your readers no matter how much it changes. Research the genre that fits your book, not what you WANT it to be. This will ensure you reach your target audience and receive the most positive reviews.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Have you heard of CritiqueMatch? In my early writing days, I used this site to find other authors to beta read my story. We’d swap the first six chapters and give each other feedback. This one guy told me that he hoped Beth (the FMC) got lost in the woods and eaten by a bear. While it wasn’t exactly advice, it was what I needed to hear. Beth wasn’t the only one with character growth since the third draft.
What are you reading now?
First of all, I’m in my ‘read all things cozy romance and smut’ phase because I’m hitting old-lady stride. Also, see previous footnote about ‘world on fire.’ Don’t judge. I’m currently reading ‘Prince of Wolves’ by Susan Krinard. Also, my hairdresser recommended ‘Keeper of Enchanted Rooms’ by Charlie N. Holmberg, so I’ve started it. Neither book has been read past 3% on my Kindle because my stubborn self insists on burning the candle at both ends.
What’s next for you as a writer?
Once I’ve completed my Between the Birches trilogy, I’m back to work on a contemporary spicy romance about a bookish nerd from the east coast who falls for a trans man who lives on the opposite coast. I’m consulting with a trans friend whom I met on TikTok on this project to bring authenticity to the LI. He’s very open and excited about the collaboration, so I can’t wait to restart after BtB. While this story won’t have the suspense or horror aspects I typically write, it incorporates two of my core beliefs: Love is love and happy endings exist. It’s going to be a fun book to write.
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
No hesitation, my hardback copy of Stephen R. Donaldson’s “Mordant’s Need” because it has all 3 books in one; same goes for my copy of “Interview with the Vampire” by Anne Rice because I haven’t read it yet, but I’ve watched the movie adaptation several times; random pick…”Hatchet” by Gary Paulsen because it was a helluva book; and my spouse’s copy of Frank Herbert’s “Dune.”

About Awakening by K.P. Roberson
Between the Birches trilogy is a story of friendship, love, and magic. A cautionary tale about how easily we can be lost in the darkness without the ties that bind, and of cosmic monsters who are hungry for chaos and who devour human souls.
Deep beneath the hills of the Appalachian mountains, an ancient evil stirs. For a millennium, he has delved into our dreams and fed off the souls of innocents. Soon, he will finally be freed from the magical prison the Goddess, Circe, trapped him inside. What he didn’t expect was how resilient the human race could be.
Beth Harper-Newman can’t wait to spend her 25th birthday on a weekend hike on the Appalachian Trail with her two favorite guys: Tom (her husband) and Grady (their best friend). Two estranged friends are waiting when they arrive, and day one seems to go downhill the further into the mountains they go. After the sun sets, the woods where Beth used to find peace turn sinister with talks of death cultists, witches, and interdimensional beings not native to this planet. Truths worm their way to the surface, lifting the veil covering Beth’s life until she’s stuck deciding what to believe or who to trust in an unfamiliar part of the forest. And, just when Beth thinks her weekend couldn’t get worse, she learns her role in this messed up hike.

About The Silence of the Wolf
“I lived three lives—Catholic son, devoted Master, and cancer survivor. This is how I stopped hiding and became whole.”
From the ashes of a childhood steeped in shame, obedience, and silence, Property of Sir Wolf rises as a raw, erotic, and soul-shaking memoir of survival, transformation, and truth.
Born into a strict Catholic family, the author was taught to fear his desires, deny his voice, and accept pain without protest. But beneath the surface of that pious boy was a Dominant soul, waiting to awaken. Through the underground world of leather, BDSM, and power exchange, he found what religion never gave him: freedom, truth, and unconditional love.

Interview With Author Affan Shaikhsurab
Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I’m Affan Shaikhsurab — a software engineer, self-learner, and someone who just loves building things. I’ve been curious about how stuff works since I was a teen, and over the years I’ve built apps, tools, even my own programming language and blockchain. I’ve written a bunch of blog posts and technical articles, but this is actually my first book. It’s something I’ve poured months of learning and trial-and-error into — not from a research point of view, but from someone who just wanted to understand how things work internally and share that journey.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
The name of my latest (and first) book is “SimpliLang: Crafting Your Own Toy Programming Language.”
It all started when I hit that weird spot — you know, after building a bunch of apps and learning a few frameworks, where nothing felt exciting anymore. I was just sitting there with a cup of tea thinking, “What next?”
That’s when it hit me — I’ve used so many programming languages, but I never really knew how they work under the hood. Like, how do loops even work? How does a class get interpreted?
It felt impossible at first to build my own language, but I didn’t start with that. I started with curiosity — and that slowly turned into this book. It’s basically the guide I wish I had when I began that journey.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Oh yeah, definitely.
I write like I talk — literally. I don’t follow any “author rules.” I don’t outline everything first or worry about structure from day one. I just start writing as if I’m explaining something to a friend while sipping chai. Sometimes I even leave sentences half-done just to come back later with a better, more natural flow.
Also, I don’t write in silence. I usually have lo-fi beats or random tech podcasts playing in the background. And I write best at night — like 1 AM kinds of night — when everything’s quiet and my brain randomly decides to become smart.
So yeah, definitely not the textbook writer. But I think that’s what makes it feel more real and personal.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Two books that really influenced me are Million Miles in a Thousand Years by Donald Miller and The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho.
Both of them hit different, honestly.
Miller’s book made me realize life itself is like a story — you don’t just live it, you edit it, shape it, make it something worth telling. That really stuck with me, especially when I felt stuck or confused about what to do next.
And The Alchemist? Man, that book taught me about following your own path — your “Personal Legend,” even if no one else gets it. It reminded me that curiosity, courage, and a bit of madness is sometimes all you need to keep going.
Both books didn’t teach me how to code or write technically — but they reminded me why I build things in the first place.
What are you working on now?
Right now, I’m working on a few things that feel close to heart.
First, I’m refining my book “SimpliLang: Crafting Your Own Toy Programming Language”—polishing the final chapters, formatting the design, and preparing for release. It’s something I’ve poured months into, and honestly, I just want to make sure it feels as personal, clear, and helpful as it felt when I started writing it.
Apart from that, I’m building a couple of tools—one is an AI-assisted code platform, and the other is a small app idea I’ve had for a while that I just want to release without overthinking it.
And always, quietly experimenting with stuff in the background—language design, blockchain, little AI toys—just things that make me curious again.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
Honestly, I don’t think there’s just one “best” method. But what’s worked for me—or at least what feels right—is sharing the journey instead of just the finished book.
I mainly use LinkedIn and Twitter/X. But not to just say, “Hey, buy my book.”
Instead, I post about the process—like the struggles, little wins, the ‘aha’ moments, screenshots of things I’m building, or just raw thoughts while writing. That builds curiosity way before the launch.
I also share code snippets, design ideas, or even doubts I had while building the language—so people feel they’re part of the making-of story.
Other than that, my website and platforms like Hashnode help give it a more “official” space.
So in short:
Build curiosity by sharing progress
Be real about what’s working and what’s not
Don’t sell the book—share the story
People don’t buy just books—they buy into the person behind it.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Start small. Share what you’re learning. And don’t wait to feel like an expert.
You don’t need to be the world’s best writer or have some mind-blowing story. Just think about what you wish you had when you were starting—and write that.
Also, treat writing like building a project. Start with a rough version, fix it as you go, and don’t be afraid to throw parts away.
Most importantly:
Keep showing up—even on days when it feels pointless.
Some days you’ll feel like it’s all trash. Write anyway.
And remember, it’s okay if your first book isn’t perfect. You’re not writing to impress. You’re writing to help someone, even if it’s just one person.
That’s more than enough reason to keep going.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Think big. Start small.
That’s the one I always come back to. You don’t need to have it all figured out—you just need to take the first step. Build momentum.
Another one that stuck with me is:
“When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.”
It’s wild how a shift in mindset can literally change everything around you.
And then this:
“Life is what you make of it—and it all starts with a thought.”
A small idea, a moment of curiosity… that’s all it takes to start something big.
These aren’t just quotes—they’re blueprints for how I try to live and build.
What are you reading now?
Right now, I’m reading Atomic Habits by James Clear.
It’s crazy how such small changes can have such a massive impact over time. The way he breaks down behavior, consistency, and identity—it just clicks. It’s not one of those motivational books you read and forget. It’s more like a playbook you keep going back to.
Perfect for someone like me who’s always juggling ideas, projects, and trying to stay consistent.
What’s next for you as a writer?
What’s next for me? I’m working on my next book called “One Step.”
It’s not technical—it’s more personal. It’s about the power of taking small, consistent steps in life, in learning, and in building things. It’s kind of a reflection of my own journey—of not knowing where to start, feeling lost, but still choosing to move, just one step at a time.
The goal is to inspire builders, creators, and dreamers to stop waiting for the perfect moment and just begin. Because honestly, everything starts with a single step.
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
If I were stranded on a desert island and could only take a few books, I’d go with the ones that shaped how I think and feel:
The Alchemist – because it’s a reminder that the journey matters more than the destination.
A Million Miles in a Thousand Years – it made me look at life like a story I get to edit.
The Go-Giver – for when I need to remember that giving value creates the most meaning.
The Top Five Regrets of the Dying – to keep me grounded in what actually matters.
